These salt cellars bear the French. Hallmark, indicating the highest quality of French sterling silver (950/1000), used in Paris since 1838. Is the guarantee that the sterling is at least 95% silver. They also bear the makers mark consisting of the letters P. Surrounding the image of a bee.
