The design is most opulent French Directory Style, Le Style Directoir , featuring architectural elements, winged goddess, palmetto, lion’s paws feet, pearl border, floral and foliage motifs – all very nicely done in marvellous detail, showcases the great craftsmanship from the period. The crystal inner is movable for your easy cleaning and refilling. The pair comes with two beautiful shell-shaped bowl serving spoons. Hallmarked the French “Coq” Rooster Mark No. 1 titre, which guaranteed the highest quality sterling silver. This is one of the highest quality sterling silver in the world, purer than standard. Maker’s mark is that of “Jean-Pierre Nicolas Bibron”, 3 rue Harley, Paris, worked 1798 till 1809. The serving spoon is not original to the Salt Cellars, but they look very nice together, bears the French Michel-Ange No. Measurements & Condition 2 3/8 inch (6.2 cm) tall x 2 3/4 inch (6.9 cm) diameter each. Weight of silver 3.8 oz (109 grams). Spoon measures 4 inch (10cm) long each, weight of 2: 0.5 oz (15 grams).
