Up for your consideration are a pair of Aesthetic Japanese influenced Salt Cellars. Each are in the shape of a 3-lobed shell supported by 3 snail shaped feet. Together the Salts weighs a hefty 63 grams, they are 1 inch tall and are 2.25 inches in length and 1.5 inches in width. Nicely hammered surfaces add to the interest of this pair. There is the remnants of gilding in each, more in one than the other. The numbers on the bottom indicate they were created around 1879, Making them over 135 years old. As with Antique items of this age a certain amount of wear due to normal usage should be expected. I do my best to describe any and all defects and blemishes that may be present. All in all a beautiful set. Please study the photo’s carefully as they make up a large part of the description! I will always respond to the best of my ability and in a timely manner.
