DESCRIPTION: The price is for one 19th Century Imperial Russian solid silver and enamel salt cellar. This beautiful cloisonne piece dates to the 19th Century. It is made with 84 silver which is about 87.5% solid silver. The interior is gilded gold, but the gilding is worn. Enamel in good condition. The salt cellar sits on 3 ball feet. It is marked on bottom but some marks are getting hard to read. This silver was black when I received it. I polished the bottom so I could see the markings. Still has lots of tarnish. Over 100 years old. Very good condition for age. No dents, dings, or repairs. Some salt corrosion on interior. Overall wear to interior gold gilding. Upon close inspection you may notice light wear and very minor scratches typical for age and use. Measures about 1 1/2″ in diameter and about 1″ tall. It weighs about 24.5 grams (weighed on Postal scale). We have been long time collectors and dealers of early English Transferware, Quality 19th century furniture, and Victoriana.
