French STERLING Silver Salt Cellars Master set & Salt & Pepper Set (ENGLAND)- In original case. The Salt & Pepper shakers are marked as shown – made in England by R. I believe the salt & pepper were added to the master cellars set. The Master cellars set appears to be from France and much older than the salt and pepper. The Mascarons (Green man) is usually seen in French wares from what I have been told. Silver was tested and is pure sterling silver. The heavily detailed very ornate pattern and age is challenging to find the makers mark. I have been informed that the spoons are sterling silver with a 18k gold plating that is worn as shown. An absolutely exquisite antique to be cherished. The master Cellars measurements are 4 ” long × 3 1/4″ x 2″ tall Spoons 3 3/4″ long Shakers are 1.5 tall each.
