Welcome to William Sharpe Antiques. Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful boxed partial set of sterling silver salts and matching spoons, made by Hilliard & Thomason of Birmingham, c-1884. The set is missing one salt and one spoon, but the five remaining sets are free from major damage. Each piece has had a light polish with respect to patina, and would be elevated with a more rigorous polish. The box is shabby, with one hinge detach and the clasp clumsy. A nice lot at a great price. Unpacked, the boxed set weighs in at 363gms. The silver has a total combined weight of 113gms. Don’t miss out! To see my other items! If you would like to view this item or any other, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Inspections are available seven days a week, with flexible timing. Sterling silver offered at William Sharpe Antiques is original and authentic, showing signs of use over its life. Unless expressly stated above, all pieces are free from major structural damage. However, normal signs of use including shallow depressions, fine scratches, and minor pattern and hallmark wear should be expected. All pieces (unless expressly stated above) have undertaken a very light polish with respect to the original patina, and a decision for further polishing will be left to the new custodian. Please note that items listed (unless otherwise advertised) are antiques and are not brand new.
