The salts with all the same English hallmarks, the research told us the following: maker’s mark-JE- could be James Edwards 11 or Joseph Emanuel- Dated 1830’s–London–Duty- Queen Victoria–Sterling 925. Combined total weight in troy oz is 9.1. The interior with mild surface scratches from use, each has curved queen Anne legs with hoof type feet. The sides with heavy floral design. No breaks, damage or repairs. They each measure 1 3/4″ high x 2 1/2″wide. Included are 4 sterling master salt spoons. Maker’s mark WRS for W. Smiley- spoon maker in the 1850’s England. Some mild surface wear, 1 with a gold washed bowl which all may have had at one time- total combined weight in troy oz is 1.12- Slight difference in size, 2 pair, one pair slightly larger than the other pair but all with same markings and design, they each measure 3 3/4 long.
