FINE STERLING SILVER REDLICH & CO. SALT CELLARS EARLY 1900’S. Presented is a pair of fine sterling silver salt cellars made by Redlich & Company in the early 1900’s. These are well made and attractive salt cellars. The salt cellars have a fancy rococo style design at the top of the bowl and along the base. Both salt cellars are monogrammed in a flowing script. The monogram is difficult to make out but it may be BCW, please refer to the photos. The inside of each salt cellar has been professionally cleaned with a brush finish. Each salt cellar is marked B. B. B. For Bailey, Banks, and Biddle company, the retailer. Beneath that is a griffin, the maker’s mark for Redlich & Company, sterling, the serial number 4442, and the letter D. The salt cellars are in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs. The salt cellars are approximately 1 3/4 inches tall and approximately 3 inches in diameter. The salt cellars weigh 148.8 grams as a pair. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.
