This listing is for a pair of Georg Jensen Denmark Sterling Silver Salt Cellars. These salt cellars feature the cactus pattern on the salt cellars and tiny spoons. The inside bowl of the salt cellars is enameled in cobalt blue; they measure 1 5/8″ in diameter or 2 1/2″ from the tip of the cactus to the other end of the salt cellar, and they are about 1/2 high. The bottoms of the salt cellars are marked “Dessin/Sterling/Denmark/30″ and the Georg Jensen mark. The spoons measure 2 1/8″ and also feature the cactus design; the back of the spoon handle is marked with the Georg Jensen hallmark and “Sterling/Denmark” as well as what appears to be the mark of 3 little crowns and an “S. Together, both salt cellars and both spoons weigh 64.0 grams. Lovely enameled salt cellars by Georg Jensen. No cracks or chips in the blue enamel. Some patina/spotting on the sterling silver.
