A unique find, this set of four sterling silver salt cellars are new in their original box, with two even still sealed in their bags! Each cellar consists of a silver body with elegant patterned cutouts measuring approximately 1 7/8 inches in diameter and 3/4 inch tall and a matching cobalt blue glass insert, brilliantly colored, approximately 1 15/16 inches in diameter and 5/8 inch tall. Two cellars are factory sealed, two are in open bags, as shown in photographs. Each silver body is marked Sterling on the bottom next to Webster’s silver mark. A set of matching salt spoons measuring 2 inches each is also included; marked sterling on the bottom of the handle, the spoons are still on the original paper card with Webster’s logo. All items are in amazing like-new condition – no cracks or chips noted on the glass, some tarnishing or discoloration as expected of older silver, particularly on the spoons. Some polishing should brighten things right up, or leave as-is for a vintage look. All items come packed in their original Vandenberg Jewelers box, Grand Rapids, Michigan; the box has some age-related staining and one torn corner on the lid but is otherwise sound.
