A pair of antique sterling silver open salts with salts spoons in the original fitted box. The salts are 2 1/2″ tall at the handles and have a diameter of 1 5/8″; height without handles 2. They have gold washed interiors. The spoons are 3 1/2 long and are marked with the Gorham logo, sterling and patent 1861. The salts are marked with the Gorham logo, sterling, 531 and date letter B for. Length of box 8 1/4″ by 3 1/2″ by 3 1/2 tall. Total weight 4.35 troy oz. All in good condition, no dents, never monogrammed and the box is in good condition with a little wear on the lid. Silverperfect under the trade name Britannia was established in 1979.
