Georgian Salt Cellars w/ Spoons. Here are two very nice late 18th century, Georgian, sterling silver salt cellars made by Robert Hennell in 1790. They are paired up with two salt spoons from John Blake dated 1795 and 1804 respectively. All pieces bear the English hallmarks shown in the pictures. Their weights are as follows. Cellar #1 90.1 grams Cellar #2 88.4 grams Spoon #1 8.8 grams Spoon #2 7.4 grams. Cellars are 5.5 long x 2.1 wide x 3 tall, and the spoons are 3.8 long. There is an engraving on the side of each cellar that is a bit hard to make out. It looks like the head of a dragon or griffin with its mouth open and tongue sticking out.
