Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a stunning pair of Sterling Silver footed salt cellars made by F. Measure 2″ high with a top diameter of 2 1/4″. Combined weight is 270 grams (including liners). This gorgeous pair of open salts are nothing short of fabulous. The silver bodies have three elaborately chased floral medallions separated by three ram’s heads in very high relief that extend as the base for the open salts. The upper rims are decorated with a rope border with cobalt glass liners inside. Both salts are in excellent Estate condition with the silver showing only normal signs of minimal wear from normal use. No other noted flaws. The glass liners are tight and do not come out easily so we did not try to force the removal and therefore they are included in our weight calculation. Both are marked F. Durgin, St Louis, Sterling.
