Description – Fine antique early 20th century set of three solid silver salt of cellars of rectangular bellied form with scroll shape rims, each raised on four feet, the salts come with their original salt spoons but are of a different maker. Both salts and spoons fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid. Sterling silver, the date letter “o” for the year 1913 and the makers mark “H & S” which is. Harrison & Sons there are also RD numbers stamped, the spoons have the makers mark “E. S. B” which is. E S Barnsley & Co. Condition – there is a dent to the underneath of one salt which is hardly visible when standing, the other two are in very good order only rubbing to the hallmarks, the spoons are in excellent condition.
