Sterling mid 1800’s Master Salts with Spoons. Ball Black & Co, Broadway, NY. Has provenance, case, 950 silver, dates to around 1855. Belonged to Mary Emma Duffield (initials MED on spoons); will provide rest of provenance upon request. Ball Black became Ball Black & Frost in 1874. Sterling: stamped 950 inside the base. Ornate Lion head double handles. 5″ long x 3″ tall. Spoons are stamped A. Have not recently cleaned these but they shine. Box/case in fair condition, leather, maroon felt interior, slots for the 2 spoons. Leather is worn and scuffed on edges and sides; intact and solid, and the hinge works perfectly.
