The handles incorporate elegant rococo styling, featuring ornate scrolling foliage. All housed in the original blue satin and velvet lined fitted presentation box. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, which guaranteed the finest quality French sterling silver of. 950/1000 purity in use from 1838 95% pure silver and higher grade than the standard. Also bearing maker’s marks for Parisian silversmith Henri Soufflot, who commence trade at 89 rue de Turbigo, Paris from 1884 – 1910. In overall good condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Silver weighs 36.4 grams. Salt spoons measure 2 5/8 length. Mustard spoon is 3 5/8 length. Box measures 4 5/8″ x 5 3/8″.
