EARLY PAIR ANTIQUE TIFFANY AND CO M STERLING SILVER. 925 SALT CELLARS WITH GOLD WASH This is a heavy, wonderful pair of salt cellars by Tiffany and Co. They measure 2 5/8″ across and almost 1 1/2″ high 1 1/8 deep. They were made between 1870-74 are hallmarked “M” for Edward C. Who was president of Tiffany for 22 years. The very early pattern number is 3245 and they are gold washed and marked sterling silver. This pair each have a fabulous hand engraved monogram’FTW’ in script. Tiffany is one of the finest makers of precious objects in the world and you don’t see these kind of pieces very often. The interiors are gold washed in 24kt gold and they have globular feet. Tiffany is synonymous with the finest in quality and beauty and is highly valued and collectible. This pair is over 150 years old and still going strong! The pair are in very good condition especially for their age and have a few normal use dings. Thank you for enjoying.
