Up for sale is a sterling silver and cobalt blue glass condiment set manufactured in Birmingham, England by Silversmith Charles Edwin Turner. The pepper pot is marked with the letters C. An anchor, a lion passant, and the letter V indicating it was made in 1895. It has an additional lion passant hallmark on the front of the piece. Measures approximately 6.25 cm tall and 3.5 cm at the base. The lid works properly. The finial at the top is slightly tilted. The mustard pot is marked with the letters C. An anchor, a lion passant, and the letter A indicating it was made in 1900. Measures approximately 4.5 cm tall and 7 cm across, including the handle. Has a small scuff and tiny dent near the handle (see final photograph). Has the original cobalt blue glass liner. The finial at the top is slightly tilted and there are a few ripples in the silver on the bottom near the hallmark that cannot be seen when the piece is on the table. The salt cellar is marked with the letters C. Measures approximately 3.5 cm tall and is 5 cm across. No defects were noted with this piece. It was difficult taking photographs without reflections of my black iPhone and background light. Other than the small defects noted above, the pieces are in excellent condition for their age. It really is a charming condiment set that would make a lovely addition to any collection.
