This is a lovely early 20th-century c. 1905 antique German Art Nouveau sterling silver & cut glass small salt cellar. Oval shape, with twin handles. Fine details of shells, bows and ribbon swags. Original clear glass liner that fits tightly. This is made with the higher grade 925 sterling silver, as opposed to other German silver which is mostly 800. No personal monograms or inscriptions. DIMENSION : 9cm x 5.5cm (3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″). Height: 3.9cm (1 1/2) approx. WEIGHT : Silver weight 19g. (with glass liner combined 43g). No damage to silver. No damage to glass liner.
