Presented is a rare pair of antique, sterling silver salt cellars made by Tiffany & Company during the late 19th century. This Victorian pair was made during the 1880s. Each ribbed or rounded panel body is raised on 3 curled palm leaf feet. The rims are decorated with shells, scrolls and flowers. This is a very solidly constructed pair of heavy weight dishes/bowls. The underside of each piece bears the Tiffany & Company sterling silver hallmark used between 1873 and 1891. This set is in great condition for their age.
