Antique pair of English Victorian sterling silver master salt cellars, neoclassical style, reticulated with satyr mask faces and garland swags, round pedestal foot, with clear glass liners, hallmarked, see close up photo, oval cartouche with monogram, each measures 2-7/8″ high x 3-1/2″ wide x 2-3/4 deep, the pair without the glass liners weighs approx. 10 troy ounces, the deeply impressed hallmarks are: the leopard’s head for London, lion for sterling, lower case Gothic k for 1865, Victoria in profile looking left, and maker’s mark RD, good condition, previously owned, from a local estate.
