Nice Pair Gorham Sterling Silver Open Salt Cellars w/ Spoons. Presented is a fine pair of Gorham sterling silver open salts, with spoons. The salts date to 1909. The salts are done in a lovely paneled style, with fabulous hand chasing. The interiors of the salts have a gold wash. The spoons are a marriage, but they match nicely. The spoons are by Dominick & Haff and are in the Pointed Antique pattern. These pieces are in excellent overall condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no chips, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Each of the salts is stamped with the Gorham maker’s mark as well as sterling and a date mark for 1909. The spoons are stamped with the maker’s mark for Dominick & Haff as well as sterling. Each salt is about 2 3/4 inches in diameter and stands about 1 7/8 inches tall. Each spoon is about 3 1/2 inches long. The total weight is 148 grams or 5.2 regular ounces.
