This is a pair of Tiffany & Co. Sterling silver open salts with cobalt glass liner and spoons. They bear the marks of Birmingham (Anchor). 925 sterling (Lion) with a date mark of 1975 (I think). There is no maker’s mark on the salts. The spoons bear the same Birmingham. 925 sterling and date marks and bear a maker’s mark of J. This stands for J. Because all of the other marks including the date are the same on the spoons and salts, I think J. Chatterley & Sons may have made the salts also. I only used these salts a few times years ago. They have been packed away. The salts measure approximately 1 3/8″ tall x 1 7/8″ across. The cobalt glass inserts measure approximately 1 1/4″ tall x 1 3/4″ across. The spoon measure approximately 2 1/2 long. I did a hand polish of the silver and noticed 2 minor flaws: a small scratch on the top rim of one and a small impression near the bottom edge of the other. The cobalt glass inserts have no chips, cracks, scratches, hazing, crazing, or discolorations. This item is in the category “Antiques\Silver\Sterling Silver (.925)\Salt Cellars”.
