Silver Raised Salt Nut Dish Figural Nudes Column European Marks 800 Fine. Presented is an imaginative detailed Neo-classical European marked solid silver nut-dish or Spice dip with a figural column of three figural. This piece has a hallmark with a 3 usually for 800 loth or fine silver; American standard sterling silver is 925 fine so there is slightly less silver in this alloy. It is in lovely condition with only some pin-prick dings, no engraved personalization, slightly out of round base, and only some fine scratches from use and care. 3 ¾” inches high, 2 7/8″ inches across top, 2 ¾ inch wide across base. 3.7 ounces or 104 grams on my postal scale. Hallmarked for European silver with what I believe to be a 3 for 800 fine silver and what I believe to be a Minerva head with what appears to be a V beneath. Some pin-prick dings, no engraved personalization, slightly out of round base, and only some fine scratches from use and care. This is my hobby and I do it for fun and a little spare cash.
