1930 Lennox salt pots with sterling silver ladders and spoons 12. This elegant set of 12 porcelain salt cellars were made by Lenox and come complete with their original sterling silver frames. The porcelain inserts have been finished in a cream color and are encircled with a thin gilt band near the top. The rims are also trimmed in gilt. The sterling frames were made by Watson and feature a decorative pierced lattice motif. The salt cellars are in very good condition and with no cracks or chips to the porcelain. The silver frames show signs of age consisting of minor tarnish which is mentioned for accuracy. The undersides of the porcelain inserts bear a green Lenox wreath backstamp used between 1906 – 1930. The silver frames carry the Watson laurel and sword mark along with the word “STERLING” and pattern number “68”. The salt cellars stand just under 1″ tall and the porcelain inserts are 1.5″ in diameter at the mouth. The silver frames themselves weigh 85 grams and the set has a total weight of 9oz with the porcelain inserts in place. The tiny spoons are made up of two kinds, eight of one style featuring a rounded spoon end and four of another style that feature is a oval spoon end please see photos. These lovely antique porcelain and sterling salt cellars display beautifully and are sure to add an elegant touch to your dining table.
