Great Sterling Silver Salt Cellars with Cobalt Glass Liners Graff Washbourne Dunn
Presented is a pair of fine sterling silver salt cellars with cobalt glass liners from Graff, Washbourne & Dunn. The cellars come with their original, cobalt blue glass liners and stand on four ball feet. The body has a pierced stripe design and a floral garland around the top, to show the cobalt glass. There is a subtle monogram at the base of one side, MEC. The bottom of each cellar is marked sterling along with the maker’s mark for Graff, Washbourne and Dunn. The silver is also marked 2 1/2 inches and with the retailer, Bailey, Banks, and Biddles. The cellars are in great condition. There is one small split in the sterling on the back edge (Photo 7). The glass liners fit well within the silver. There are no other breaks and no repairs. Each cellar stands 1 1/4 inches tall and measures 2 1/2 inches by 1 3/4 inches.
