Victorian 1888 HILLIARD & THOMASON Aesthetic Sterling Silver Salt Cellars w/ Glass Liners. Bases have HT hallmark, lion passant, O date letter, anchor, and left facing Queen Victoria profile. Aesthetic design with twist rope trim. Measures 2 1/2″ x 1 3/8″. Combined weight, excluding the cobalt glass liners, is 102.4 grams. One liner has a couple of tiny fleabites to edge. The other has one. Sterling could use a little polishing as there is some oxidation. Has a blank space to add a monogram.
