VINTAGE Sterling Silver NAVAJO Kenneth Begay WHITE HOGAN Salt Spoons with Salt Cellar. A great vintage pair of spoons by famed Navajo artist, Kenneth Begay, which were made for salt or salt and pepper and are fabulously designed. There are holes for the salt or pepper to flow through which are covered on top by a decorative overlay piece of silver. They are each signed with Kenneth Begay’s hallmark and the White Hogan hallmark and they are sterling silver. The salt cellar is not marked but is tested for sterling silver, the artist for salt cellar is unknown. Each spoon weighs approximately 7 grams. The salt cellar weighs 18 grams. See pictures for additional details. The condition is excellent vintage and collectible. Kenneth Begay may have been the most important jeweler in Navajo history.
