Add a touch of sophistication to your dining table with these exquisite Adie Brothers English Sterling Silver Salt Cellars. The antique pieces are crafted in a Modern Victorian pattern and boast a beautiful cobalt blue liner that perfectly complements the stunning sterling silver composition. These salt cellars were manufactured in 1932, making them a true antique piece that reflects the elegance of the early 20th century. Included in this set are two salt cellars that come with their original hand-carved wood storage box, ensuring both safekeeping and easy access. They are script monogrammed on the front and marked on the bottom Made In England For J. They are hallmarked on one side with the maker’s mark for Adie Brothers, Ltd. One salt cellar is also inscribed Women’s Golf Assoc. 1932 Class B Low Net. The carved wood box is lined in red silk. These salt cellars make a perfect addition to any antique silver collection and will surely impress your guests. Excellent antique condition with no dents or damage to the sterling silver containers. The wooden storage box is cracked on the top (see photo) but does not detract from the beautiful carvings. Also, there are two small chips on the top lip of one of the glass inserts.
