A pair of British sterling silver open salt cellars. Round form bowls with scroll-form handles. Standing on a round with beaded rim base. Each hallmarked to bowl’s side: “&” over “W W” into trefoil for Wakely and Wheeler; “Lion passant” for British sterling silver; “Leopard head” for city of London; date letter ” i ” for 1924 Makers mark is not clear but readable, rest of marks are crisp and clear, please see and inspect all photos. Pictures will tell you more. Each Approx: Width (handle to handle): 3-5/8in. Height (w/o handles): 1-5/8in. Weight: 2.8 troy oz. Clean, free of dings, dents and blemishes. Dark spots you are seeing on the photos, are reflections of a camera and other objects. Commensurate with age, the condition is excellent.
