Pair Antique Bucholz & Zelt 800 Silver Dolphin and Cut Glass Master Salt Cellars. Bucholz & Zelt – New York was an American importer of Hanau Silver. The pieces have impressed marks B&Z, crescent and crown, Germany on curved rims at bottoms. The marks are hard to read with some loss of lettering due to the curve. They have an etched pattern in the glass. One salt cellar has a small chip to the glass with a series of 3/4″ long cracks near it, the other has a flaw to the silver on one side, a 1/8″ scratch in the glass, an abrasion, some slight scratches, flea bites I couldn’t capture. Both have polish residue to the silver and need a cleaning/polishing. These are antique items that could have issues I did not detect. One glass portion of the salt cellars is slightly larger than the other. One salt cellar measures: 5-1/8″ tall x 6″ x 5-1/4″, the diameter of the silver bottom is 3-7/8″. Other salt cellar measures: 5-1/8″ tall x 5-3/4″ x 5″, the diameter of the silver bottom is 3-7/8″.
