Antique late 19th century 800 silver double salt dish. Hallmark dates to as early as 1876 and indicates 800 silver (however, when I did acid test it was positive for sterling). There is also a hallmark MV, possibly maker’s initials. One small dent on one bowl, what may appear to be dents on the underside are actually indentations from the hallmark. Stands 5.25″, width 5″. There are some areas of black tarnish.
