Pair of Antique 1900-01 Sterling Solid Silver Salt Dish Pot Cellar Glass Liners
Welcome to William Sharpe Antiques. Here today for your consideration we have this stunning pair of sterling silver and clear glass salt cellars, with housing made by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd of London, c-1900 and 1901. Each piece in this matching pair stands upon four decorative feet, having a bulbous body and finished with a plain but scalloped edge. Condition is good overall, with no structural damage to the silver of note. The liners are in great order with no damage, but there is some mild pitting to the silver from salt corrosion over time. A stunning piece for the collection indeed! Each piece measures about 6.5cm x 4.5cm and stands about 3.5cm tall. Unpacked, they weigh a combined 128gms, with the silver accounting for 93gms of this.
