Early Durgin Sterling Silver Open Work Master Salt Cellar with Emerald Green Liner. Measures 3 3/16″ long x 2 3/8″ wide x 1 1/4 high. Marked Sterling & 45 on the outside edge. & marked underneath on one foot, with an early makers mark for the William B. All of the lattice work is intact with no breaks or bends. Sits squarely on all 4 feet. Hard to find liners with this color… Most are cobalt blue or ruby red. Possibly a pattern match for Shell (1890) or Victoria (1887).
