ANTIQUE GERMAN 800 SILVER FIGURAL WAGON & CHERUB SALT CELLAR BY PFORZHELM. Offered here is this late 19th century German 800 silver figural master salt cellar with cobalt blue liner. The salt cellar stand has an oval cobalt blue liner and features a wagon being pushed by a cherub. The sides of the salt cellar showcase different landscape scenes with people. The wheel on the wagon turns. It is in very good condition with no dents or deep scratches. No chips to the glass liner. There is a small separation in the silver decoration, in one spot on the side, but it is only noticeable under a magnifier. It has the makers mark for Kaser & Walter, Pforzhelm of Germany. There is the crescent moon and crown mark as well as the mark “800” for 800 parts silver out of 1000 parts silver. The stand measures 4 1/2″ wide, 1 5/8″ long and 2 1/4 tall to the top of the cherub’s head. It weighs in at 81 grams of 800/1000 silver.
