A very good Pair of George II solid silver open Salt Cellars. They are 2 1/2 or 6.5cm across the rim. 1 3/4 or 4.5cm tall. The Pair weigh 264 grams. Weight of silver is 159 grams. Of shallow cauldron shape raised on three elaborate hoof feet. Hallmarked to base for London, 1758. Maker’s mark of Thomas Blake. In very good, clean and bright condition.
