For your consideration is a very rare, desirable Plique a Jour open Salt by the well regarded Dannish Silversmith David Anderson. This piece is Sterling silver, with Plique a jour enamel shields on the side of the boat. The colors are vibrant Green, Yellow, Orange. This piece was made between 1888 and 1925, is in excellent condition, and the enamel is fully intact. If you look closely you can see a number of lines on the surface of the enameling, but this is completely normal and expected, it does not detract from the value or beauty of the piece.
