1885 Sheffield Salt Cellar Set, 6 with Spoons, Cobalt Glass Inserts, Original Case. Sterling silver Sheffield salt cellars, 1885 – this is a complete set of 6 with matching spoons and cobalt blue glass removable inserts. Produced by the Atkin Brothers (evidenced by the HA mark, representing their father Henry Atkins) in 1885 and is housed in what looks to be the original case. The case has a crown and LW imprinted on the top. The salt cellar set is in excellent condition: the silver shows minimal wear and the cobalt blue glass inserts are free of cracks. The case latch still works and the case is showing some wear with a few splits and fading on the lining. An amazing set with all original pieces.
