Victorian Cased Set 4 HM Silver Salts – Sheffield 1883 – Atkin Bros – sterling. This is a lovely Victorian, cased set of four solid silver salt cellars with two spoons (nb:- two spoons missing). All six pieces bear identical hallmarks for Sheffield 1883 by Atkin Brothers. All presented in their original hard fitted case. The salts have a nice fluted design, good gauge of silver, lightly gilded interiors. Not engraved or personalised in any way. Approx size:- salts 2″ diameter x 1.25″ tall. Spoons 2.75 long. Case 8″ x 7″ x 2.5 deep. Approx weight:- Salts 33 grams each. Spoons 5 grams each. Total combined silver weight 142.1 grams. Total cased weight 435 grams. The case is also in good sound order with hinge/catch perfect, scuff marks and wear commensurate with age as per photos.
