A pair of 18th-century (1786) George III sterling silver antique salt cellars and glass liners. They are in beautiful navette form, with pierced and Bright-cut decoration, beaded rim, each raised on 4 claw & ball feet. Hallmarked on the underside, both with matching Georgian hallmarks. HALLMARKS: London, SILVER fineness 925. MAKER William Abdy I. DIMENSION : 8.8cm x 6.2cm (3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″). Height 5.6cm (2 1/4). WEIGHT : Silver weight: 97g combined (270g with liners).
