Presented is an antique pair of sterling silver master salt cellars made by the Samuel Kirk & Son Company during the first quarter of the 20th century. This Art Nouveau style set was made around the 1910s. Each salt cellar is hand chased in a classic, floral Repousse pattern. Each salt is marked with the S. Kirk & Son Co 925/1000 hallmark used between 1903 and 1924. This set is in excellent overall condition, especially considering age. The raised designs are crisp. Two of the feet on one salt cellar have tiny splits to the side, but they don’t go all the way through and are hardly noticeable. Height: 1 1/2 inches. Weight: 79 grams or 2.8 ounces.
