A pair of Gorham sterling silver open salts. With two butterflies applied to the rim of each salt. The decoration on the butterflies is different on each salt. Marked lion, anchor, G. 550, B the date letter for 1869. Height 1 3/4″; diameter of opening 2′ 1/4″; Length across the butterflies 3 7/8; total weight 4.35 troy oz.
