Ornate Set 4 Sterling Silver Open Salts w/Spoons Rococo Putti Design. Presented is a fabulous set of 4 sterling silver open salt cellars, with spoons. These salts date to the late 1800s or early 1900s, and are of American make. The salts are done in an ornate Rococo style, with boat-like bodies and putti figures on the front. Three of the salts have their original spoons, with swan’s head terminals. The remaining salt has a replacement spoon with a spiral handle. These pieces are in great condition. The gold wash on the interior of the salts is in good shape. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The salts and the spoons are all stamped sterling. The salts measure about 2 inches long and stand about 2 3/8 inches tall. The swan’s head spoons are about 2 1/4 inches long, while the spiral spoon is about 2 inches long.
