Salt Cellar Pair Georgian Era Sterling Silver London Antique 1700s
Pair of Georgian Era Sterling Silver Salt Cellars. The hallmarks are worn but the Lion mark for Sterling is still visible as is the London mark. I cannot make out the makers or date marks. They each measure about 1 3/4 high. The top opening of each cellar is about 2 1/2 diameter. Total gram weight for both salt cellars combined is 224.7 grams. Condition is very good, no dents or dings. I have not cleaned or polished them. I have owned these salt cellars for many years. They came from the estate of an influential woman who, among other things, collected Georgian Era Sterling.
