Up for your consideration is a beautiful Set of 6 hammered bread plates from Gorham. These plates have Japanese. Inspired cherry or prunus branches that are applied to the interior of the border as shown. In addition, some of the flowers show signs of gilding witch adds to the three dimensional effect of the plates. Five of the plates bear the pattern code A9620/1 , one of the plates has a J/FI code indicating it as a special order piece. All seem exactly the same, being 5 inches in diameter and about 1/2 inches tall. Together they weigh 365 grams. As with Antique items of this age a certain amount of wear due to normal usage should be expected. I do my best to describe any and all defects and blemishes that may be present. All in all a beautiful piece of early Japanese influenced Gorham silver. Please study the photo’s carefully as they make up a large part of the description! I will always respond to the best of my ability and in a timely manner. Thanks for taking the time to view my items!
