Excellent for the age and really a nice example no cracks or chips or repair, I did not polish this Antique silver but would look beautiful if you did, pretty rare item, really is nicer than photos & is apprx 6 1/8″ tall x 5 1/2″ across wide x 3″, with two figural scroll handles, gadroon and shell border, lobed oval body embossed with scrolls and leaves, one side applied with the arms of the Salters Company, the other with a cartouche”The Salters Company 500th Anniversary 1394. 1894, on four scroll supports, urn shaped stem, stepped oval base with heart and linear motifs above bud and leaf border just a gorgeous piece a must have.
