These are from the late 19. And have markings on the salt cellars, spoons and case. These markings include what looks like a symbol followed by D & S, PNS, 8 1 on the salt cellars. Six of the spoons have the same symbol followed by D & S, EP and three of the spoons are D & Co. I believe these may have been made by Davis & Sons from Glasgow, Scotland. The case has a kite mark on the bottom which, I believe, indicates that the design is from 1864. The interior of the case has purple velvet material on one side and a pink satin material on the other. The case opens and shuts with a metal button. All the pieces are in very nice condition with just some tarnish. The case does show some wear (see photos) and it can be a little tricky to open. These are coming from a non-smoking home. Salt cellars 2 ¼ wide x ¾ high. Spoons 2 5/8 long. Case 11 ¼ long x 6 ¼ wide x 1 ¼ high.
